本研究は、観智院本『類聚名義抄』の全文翻刻と注釈を作成して、その内容をインターネット上に公開し、自在に検索できるようにすることを目標としている。データベース構築では、昨年度に続き、(1)異体字表示システム開発、(2)利用者の利便性向上、(3)本文校正の精度向上の三つの課題を実施したが、特に(1)に重点をおいて作業を進めた。具体的には、GlyphWikiというシステムを利用し、観智院本『類聚名義抄』の掲出字約42,000字を対象にして、原文字形に近い異体字フォントの作成を行って、約36,000字の作字を完成した。残るは約6,000字となり、次年度にすべての掲出字を原文字形に近い異体字フォントで表示することに見通しをつけた。
(2)利用者の利便性向上は、HDIC Vierwerの整備（https://viewer.hdic.jp/）、(3)本文校正の精度向上は、観智院本『類聚名義抄』の全文翻刻テキストデータの公開（https://github.com/shikeda/HDIC）を行い、それらの課題を実現した。
次に注釈作成でも、前年度に続き、(4)高精細カラー版の利用、(5)逸文の収集と整理、(6)観智院本を取り上げた論著の収集と整理を実施した。(4)は正宗敦夫・望月郁子・草川昇の成果との照合を終えて、翻刻本文の精度を格段に高めた。(5)は前年度にほぼ完成したので、(6)を中心に進め、岡田希雄・小林恭治などの成果を整理し、注釈に取り込んだ。(6)は『文選』古訓を中心に照合を進め、8割程度の照合を終えた。
研究成果の公表に関しては、ポータルサイト(https://hdic.jp)を通した各種の関連情報を発信し、オンライン開催の国際学会に参加して成果発表を行い、古辞書講習会（訓点語学会主催）、「古辞書・漢字音研究と人文情報学」シンポジウムを企画して、成果を広く公表した。
