Tatsuya Ota specializes in criminology, victimology and Asian legal system. He has published extensively on issues relating penology, offender treatment and victim support. Especially, his recent research has focused on reentry of inmates through coordination of correction and community supervision such as parole and partial suspended execution of imprisonment.
