    インターネット上のコミュニティ支援プロジェクト（ＶＣＯＭプロジェクト）

    　活動内容を見る

    インターネット上のコミュニティ支援プロジェクトであるVCOMプロジェクトに1995年発足当初から参画し、阪神淡路大震災の被災者支援のための情報提供活動を行ってきた。1997年よりシステム担当運営委員を務め、女性情報コミュニティ、福祉情報コミュニティ、有機農作物認証コミュニティなど、社会的に重要な役割を果たす NPOの情報提供の支援を行っている。具体的には、ネットワーク管理、WWWサーバの構築、メーリングリストの管理、検索エンジンの整備等。

    At the time of large-scale disasters, peoples’ life and property are at very high risk due to the building collapses, tsunamis and fires. However, the health risks are not just those of the acute phase.
    On top of the trauma caused by the disaster, disaster-vulnerable people such as hospitalized patients, in-home care recipients, dialysis patients, pregnant women, infants, and people with disabilities also face high health risk in the long-term evacuation. Issues of health care in disaster situations tend to be discussed in the context of acute medical support. On the other hand, the health impact of long-term evacuation and living in the temporary housing has not been discussed enough.
    In this chapter, based on the cases that were seen in the Great East Japan Earthquake, we will discuss the health risks that stem from long-term sheltering or living in temporary housing and what kind of support is necessary to reduce such risks. In these cases, the early detection and response against the health risk of affected people was realized by a collaboration of those monitoring the residents and those managing the shelters and temporary housing. In addition, the importance of collaboration among people with different professions as well as the use of ICT has been suggested.

Objective:In case of an outbreak of Nankai Trough Mega-earthquake, it is predicted that a tsunami would invade Nagoya City within 100 minutes, hitting about one third of the City of Nagoya. If the administrative plan of the city and midwives' expertise are coordinated, pregnant women's chances of survival will increase. The authors carried out this simulation study in an attempt to improve consistency of the two efforts.Method:We estimated the number of pregnant women using a machine learning model. The evacuation distance of pregnant women was estimated on the basis of the data of road center line.Results:Through this simulation study, it became clear that preparation for approximately 2600 pregnant women escaping from tsunami predicted area and for about 1200 pregnant women possibly left in the area is needed.Conclusions:Our study suggests that triage point planning is needed in areas where pregnant women are evacuated. The triage makes it possible to transport women to appropriate hospitals.

    © 2019 IEEE. We proposed a classification of the information needs in the phases of disaster and disaster support activities carried out by Japanese information volunteers. The classification denoted irregularities and omissions in information support activities with the blank cells in the classification tables. According to the result, we proposed some styles of information support that would fill the gaps, and strongly recommended the remote help works targeting other information supporters as a probable fourth pillar of Japanese disaster response system.

Filtering face-piece respirators are the frequent personal protection devices of hospital’s healthcare workers to decrease infective risk, and its protection level is determined by how well the face-piece fits to the wearer’s face. This study aims to apply 3D scan, programmable modeling, 3D printing technology and bio-compatible filament to realize the design and fabrication of custom-fit respirator, and improve fit testing result of hospital staff. Infection control practitioner who takes response of the prevention of infectious diseases is set as the design agent of this customization task in this study. A semi-automatic modeling system and prototype fabrication are proposed to help the infection control practitioner in the process of the respirator design for all healthcare worker without CAD experience.

  • 看護ケアを基盤とした個別性に応じた ケアツールの評価手法の提案

    本研究では、個別性に合わせた看護ケアの支援のために新しくデザインされた「もの」を評価するための手法についての検討を行った。個別のケアニーズを基に行われたツールの開発を看護診断（NANDA-I）のリンケージを利用し、看護介入（NIC）と介入の成果（NOC）を導き出すことで、看護過程のプロセスとして解釈した。
    　ケアのニーズに基づいて製作されたツールを、看護ケアのフレームで評価するための具体的な手順を示し、看護ケアを基盤としたデザイン手法として提案する。

    本研究では、3Dプリンターをはじめとするデジタルファブリケーション環境を活用して看護用具・用品の製作を行うことについての可能性を明らかにする。現場でのニーズに基づいた看護用具の試作、試作した用具の可用性・安全性に関する評価、および用具製作のノウハウを共有することのインパクトについての検討を行う。また、現場のニーズから試作品の製作、ノウハウの公開・共有までのプロセスの検討を行い、安全で役に立つ看護用具の製作のための方法の確立と課題の抽出を行う。
