資本のユーザコストに含まれるキャピタル・ゲインの効果を価格にフィードバックするシステムを経済変動のpropagatorと考えて，それに技術進歩からもたらされるランダムなimpulseを加えた．ランダム項の扱いとしてはLangevin方程式を利用している．その定式化のために必要な道具の解説・展望を行いながら，最終的にFokker-Planck方程式をLie群の方法で解いて価格変動の分布が得られた．解が得られるための条件には，価格方程式に含まれるドリフト項と拡散項に一定の関係がなければならず，それが満たされていることが示されている．価格変動の瞬間的分散は，実質金利と資本のコストシェアの比に比例し，二つある定常解のうち一つは不安定である．この不安定点はランダム項の存在によって無視できず，Frisch[1933]が考えたpropagationとimpulse問題を統合しimpulseの定式化がpropagation mechanismに影響を与えるという新たな問題を提起している．

This paper estimates labour demands by age and gender using linked data from three Japanese instruments: the Census of Commerce, the Census of Manufactures and the Basic Survey on Wage Structure. The demographic composition of labour demnads in the retail establishemnt significantly changes at a certain size of sales area: female workers under the age of 40 prevail in large establishments. Estimations in the manufacturing industry show that the percentage of young male workers increases in output and area of the establishment. The effect of these non-linearities has been to influence retail policy effectiveness on protecting small size establishments.

日本とカナダの間のCO2排出係数の比較をおこなっている．カナダにおいては発電から発生するCO2が非常に少ない．カナダは日本への輸出需要を満たすためにCO2を排出しているがそれがどの程度かを計測している．カナダと日本が貿易によって自国技術だけにたよるよりCO2を減らしていることも計測して得られた．

When viewed from a worldwide perspective, issues involving energy resources and the environment are undoubtedly important. We compiled the Japan-China input-output talbes with common industrial classfication for energy sources and air pollutants. It provides the first really accurate information with respect to enegy and the genration and emission of air pollutants. Our analysis has shown that the emission of CO2 in China is twice as high as that in Japan, and 20 times higher in the case of Sox.

Environmental management requires, among other things, the incorporation of environmentally friendly technologies into production processes of environmentally friendly technologies into production processes at the producer level and the adoption of energy consumption patterns which save energy use at the household level. The systemwide approach involving both technology choice and consumer preference seems particularly essential for controlling the total emission of global warming gases. CO2 and other global warming gases, as well as certain pollution causing gases, are produced when fossil fuels are burnt; and the consumption of fossil fuels occurs in both the production and consumption of goods and services. In this paper we discuss how input–output analysis can be used to estimate the entire production and consumption of global warming gases conditional on production technology and consumer preferences. We also present estimation results and their application to some environmental management issues in Japan. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
